Garden of Innocence - San Diego was founded in 1998 by Elissa Davey who brought together a community to do what is right and expected. With one sole purpose of providing dignified burials for abandoned & unidentified children, Elissa, and an expanding group of volunteers continue to execute this mission in San Diego County, California.
As a non-profit & non-denominational organization we have the participation of singers, poets, song writers, woodworkers, quilters and knitters of many faiths and perspectives -- all joining together to send these little babies home with the love and dignity of family.
